REAL PEOPLE. REAL JOURNEYS.
Results that go beyond the mirror.
Skin, digestion, eating behaviour and body composition can look like completely different concerns. GeniusGut looks for the patterns connecting food, the gut microbiome, lifestyle and the individual. These are real client journeys, not promises of identical outcomes.
Individual results vary. Client stories are shared with consent.
How to read these stories.
Every case study below follows the same structure, so you can compare processes, not just outcomes. The purpose is to show how the method works, not to promise that your experience will match anyone else's.

Client stories describe individual experiences and are shared for educational purposes. Results and timelines vary. GeniusGut provides health education and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Client journeys.
Six different starting points. One common thread: the gut microbiome, food re-education, lifestyle and a personalised strategy. Never a single fixed protocol.
DYSBIOSIS × ACNE × GUT-SKIN
Giovanna
Two months. A different direction.
Giovanna worked with GeniusGut for two months, focusing on dysbiosis, food re-education and the gut-skin connection.
During those two months, Giovanna reported a visible improvement in her skin alongside broader changes in her diet and gut health.
What we worked on
- Dysbiosis
- Food re-education
- Gut-skin connection
- Personalised lifestyle strategy
Individual experience. Results and timelines vary.
DIGESTION × NERVOUS HUNGER × GUT HEALTH
Marica
A broader shift in digestion, eating behaviour and her relationship with food.
The goal wasn't simply to make the number on the scale smaller.
Marica's starting point included reflux, post-meal bloating, nervous and emotional hunger, and irregular bowel patterns, alongside her relationship with food and body weight.
The work focused on all of it together: nervous hunger, gut health, bowel regularity, food re-education, meal structure and sustainable habits, not any one marker in isolation.
Marica reports that the reflux which previously affected her has resolved during her journey, alongside improvements in post-meal bloating and bowel regularity.
Food re-education, greater dietary variety and a more structured, sustainable approach have also changed her relationship with food: she can now enjoy foods like pizza as part of normal life, without treating them as a failure or falling back into restrictive eating.
Alongside these changes, Marica has lost 14 kg so far, while changing the behaviours surrounding food, one visible outcome among several in a broader shift.
What we worked on
- Nervous and emotional hunger
- Reflux
- Post-meal bloating
- Bowel regularity
- Relationship with food
- Gut health
- Food re-education
- Sustainable habits
Digestion, eating behaviour, gut health and her relationship with food improving together. 14 kg lost is one visible part of that, not the whole story.
Individual experience. Results vary. Marica's reflux, bloating and bowel regularity improved as part of her own reported experience and are not a guarantee for every client; GeniusGut does not diagnose or treat reflux as a medical condition. 14 kg lost is Marica's individual result, not a typical or guaranteed outcome.
GUT × SKIN
Hellen
When the skin wasn't the whole story.
Hellen came to GeniusGut with persistent rosacea and acne concerns.
The strategy looked beyond topical skincare alone and explored the wider gut-skin picture through food re-education, gut-health support and personalised lifestyle changes.
What we worked on
- Gut-skin axis
- Food re-education
- Gut-health supportive habits
- Personalised lifestyle changes
Individual experience. Results vary.
DYSBIOSIS × ACNE × GUT-SKIN
Martina
Acne was visible. Dysbiosis and glycaemic spikes were part of the wider pattern.
Martina's starting point included acne, dysbiosis, glycaemic spikes, and a dietary pattern with an excessive carbohydrate load.
Rather than treating her skin in isolation, the strategy worked on this broader pattern: gut-skin axis, microbial diversity, meal composition and glycaemic balance, and the lifestyle factors surrounding her acne.
The work included increasing plant diversity, rebalancing carbohydrate quality and quantity within meals, and supporting a more varied dietary pattern overall.
What we worked on
- Gut-skin axis
- Dysbiosis and microbial diversity
- Glycaemic balance
- Carbohydrate quality and meal composition
- Plant diversity
- Food re-education
- Lifestyle
Individual experience. Results vary.
CONSTIPATION × BOWEL REGULARITY
Andrea
When "normal" bowel movements weren't normal.
Andrea's work centred on bowel regularity, fibre, hydration, food structure, movement and gut-health habits.
His strategy also explored microbial diversity and metabolic habits supporting insulin sensitivity, as part of a broader, personalised gut-health approach.
What we worked on
- Bowel regularity
- Fibre
- Hydration
- Food structure
- Movement
- Gut-health habits
- Microbial diversity
- Metabolic habits & insulin sensitivity
Not every transformation is visible. Some are felt every single day.
Individual experience. Results vary.
BOWEL FUNCTION × FERMENTATION
Cinzia
Sometimes the problem isn't just what you eat.
Cinzia's case involved a long colon with both a mechanical and a fermentative component. It required looking at bowel function in context, rather than simply removing more foods.
The starting point included slow gut motility, daily bloating and fermentation, and reliance on laxatives and periodic hydrocolonic treatment to have a bowel movement.
The strategy considered her individual bowel pattern, fermentation triggers, food structure and the mechanical component affecting her regularity.
What we worked on
- Gut motility
- Fermentation triggers
- Gut lining support
- Microbial diversity
- Personalised supplementation
- Food re-education
- Daily symptom tracking
The objective wasn't restriction. It was understanding her pattern.
Individual experience. Results vary. GeniusGut did not treat or alter the anatomical structure of Cinzia's colon; the work focused on the lifestyle and gut-health factors within its scope.
Areas clients commonly track.
These are the categories clients most often pay attention to during the programme, not a checklist of guaranteed outcomes, and not every category is relevant to every client.
What progress can look like.
Progress rarely looks like a single number. For many clients, it may include:
A better understanding of personal triggers
Greater consistency with daily habits
Improved confidence around food and meals
More sustainable, livable routines
Clearer communication with healthcare professionals
Better awareness of symptoms and lifestyle patterns
Questions about client stories.
No. Each starting point, routine and set of goals is different. The process is personalised, and outcomes vary from person to person.
Your starting point is different.
Your strategy should be too.
The first step is understanding what is happening now: your food, gut health, symptoms, lifestyle and patterns.
